Hong Kong Jewelry Manufacturers’ Association (HKJMA) has started organizing jewelry exhibition since 1992. At the beginning, the show was jointly organized with the others Hong Kong jewelry associations and HKTDC. Until 1995, HKJMA launched its wholly-owned show, "Hong Kong Jewellery Manufacturers' Exhibition", at the HKJMA office to assist members to explore local jewelry market.

The show keeps a steady growth and holds annually at Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition with the name "Hong Kong International Jewelry Manufacturers' Show". Nowadays, the show becomes one of the Asian major jewelry buying events and serves as an immediate sales platform for global buyers.
